Although the only acapella track on this EP (and the shortest), it is the most reflective of my roots. Long before I was playing the guitar, I was using only my voice to compose music.

Breathe and Believe began with Meena's voice, which I heard on Let Them Sing! That 2006 recording features young musicians in India, and it is part of the family of projects supported by Project Ahimsa. Learn more about Meena (and others) at projectahimsa.org/letthemsing/.

And thank you to my friend and favorite emcee, Xception, for contributing the song's final poetic element.
